What Cole Thinks

I decided to ask Cole about each of the family members and see what he thinks of each of us.....



Mommy -

This is the lady that gets very frustrated with me. She does not have patience with me when she is doing things for that little person. When she is home and my daddy is not I want her to give me attention! She likes to give me treats and table food. She is always trying to teach me new tricks. Everyone once in a while I will master a new one and she gets so excited. She also lets me sleep in the bed on her side. I know I don't always listen to her and I really should try to listen more often...nah!!!


Kyle (little person that takes all my attention) -

This little guy came along shortly after I was becoming the true master of this house. I was all settled in and WHAM here comes this needy little thing. He makes one peep and mommy and daddy are over giving him all the attention. I can whine and bark and all I get is "Cole quiet!!!" After a while I realized this guy was not going anywhere so I figured I better get used to him being around. And you know what he is not so bad. He likes to play on the floor so I have to be really careful about where I step. I know if I make one false move I am in BIG trouble. He eats a lot and I have discovered that he usually has some leftovers on his hands, clothes, face or the floor. So after he is done I swoop in for the leftovers. He is getting more active and likes to grab me. But I am a good dog and don't really care if he grabs me. I just give him a kiss and it makes him laugh. At first I was not too happy with this guy, but the more I get to know him I really like him. I think we will be good friends and have lots of fun as he gets older.



Pedro -

Well this is my favorite toy. I love to chase him all over the house. The problem is he is smaller and can get in places I can't get to. I get really frustrated when he is somewhere I can't reach. So I start to bark and whine (my mommy hates it when I do this) All I want to do is play with him and he thinks I am attacking him. He just hisses and tries to scratch my eyes out. He has made me bleed a few times but I am no wimp I just keep on playing. I don't know why he is so afraid of me. He is such a ***** !!!!

Daddy -

This guy is my best friend. I love him so much. I follow him wherever he goes in the house. I even wait for him outside the bathroom door. When he leaves I get so upset. I watch him from the kitchen window and wait there until he comes home or I have to chase the cat, whichever comes first. When he is sitting on the sofa I have to put my head in his lap and be right there with him. We play and wrestle together (mommy is always yelling at us about the wrestling). I love to go on walks. We go almost everyday. It is my favorite part of the day. He took me to all my training classes so I usually listen to what he says. If not I am in big trouble, after he scolds me I give him my sad face and he feels bad about yelling at me. When he went away for a few days I was so stressed out, it gave me really bad gas (mommy was not happy about that). He makes sure I get all my medicine and feeds me each day. I LOVE MY DADDY SO MUCH!!!!

I love my family and I think I am pretty lucky to be here with them. When they came to pick me out I knew they were the ones for me. (I still can't believe my mommy had to convince my daddy to get me). I guess I could do somethings to make life easier around here but for right now I am just having fun.

Merry Christmas!

It is hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone. It seemed like it would never get here. I was so excited for Kyle's first Christmas. I had the same excitement I felt when I was young. I know that he will not remember this Christmas but was so much fun to watch him try to open his presents and explore his new toys.

On Christmas Eve we celebrated with my parents, Uncle Todd and Aunt Heather. Kyle's favorite gift was a caterpillar that had a string to pull it with. He loved the string! (his drool covered shirt says Santa is my Homeboy! WURD!)

Dad got us some really cool free T-shirts! Brian and I can't wait to wear our BET shirts!!

Then we were off to the Krajniks for some more celebrating!

Kyle was up very late on Christmas Eve, we did not get home until after 10:00. Two hours past his bedtime. He went right to sleep but did not stay asleep. I think he was excited about Santa.

Christmas morning we were up at 7:00 and Kyle had gifts under the tree from Santa!
After opening our Santa gifts were were back on the road to my parents house to visit for a few minutes with Aunt Heather and Uncle Todd before they head back to NJ.

Then we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Kyle was tired from his busy morning so he took a nap right when he got there. While Kyle was napping we had breakfast and opened gifts. We also watched the dogs go nuts. Here is a picture of our dog under the tree trying to "play" with peanut. Cole loved to sit under the tree. He is a strange dog.

After his nap Kyle was ready to open more gifts.

After a busy afternoon we were all ready to take a nap. So we headed home hoping to get a nap in. Well some of us did not want to nap...

Kyle after taking a 15 minute nap was ready to go. He was too excited about all his new gifts.

After our very short nap time we went to GG's house for dinner.
During this busy day Brian was not feeling well and by the end of the night had a fever and was ready for bed. So we headed back home. Kyle went right to bed and thankfully staying asleep until 7:30a.m.

After breakfast Kyle wanted to play with all his new toys.


Now where am I going to put all these toys????? And Yes most of these toys make annoying sounds or sing annoying songs.

I could not put pictures of all of Kyle's Christmas outfits on here but he had 5 outfits on during the Christmas celebration.

We had a great Christmas and even though we were very busy we loved spending time with our families.

No Carrots Please

Kyle has liked everything we have given him so far. I think we have found one thing that he does not like...carrots. We have tired to give him some one day and then wait a few days and tried again. Nope! I even sent it to Aunt Erica's and BB could not get him to eat any. It looked like he was wearing most of it :)
This past weekend he tried peas for the first time and he loved them. So I thought I would try mixing the two together and this is what happened.



In case you did not hear me say it 5 million times, I was feeding him peas and carrots. UG!


Anyways... how cute!

Sheild Your Eyes!

Brian had an ugly sweater contest at his work party. He searched all over Goodwill for the perfect sweater. He thought he had found the winner....




He wore it to Arundel Seafood and complete strangers were staring and giving him props for actually wearing it out in public. We were sure he was going to win.

Results:
He was in the top 3 but did not win. I do not dare post the winner as it may permanently damage your sight.


I am sure he will be searching all year to find the perfect sweater for next year.

All I want for Christmas

Kyle went to see Santa Clause tonight. He was very friendly to the guy that worked Santa's workshop. He let him hold him while he was waiting his turn. When it was Kyle's turn, he sat on Santa's lap and looked right at him and started to play with his beard. Maybe he was pulling on it to see if it was real. Then it only took a few minutes to realize that this is a stranger and where are my mom and dad. And this is what happened next.....


I hope he got a chance to tell Santa what he wanted before he started to cry.

Busy Weekend

We had another busy weekend. On Friday Kyle had 4 shots. He was such a trooper, he hardly cried. Then we joined the Arundel Seafood group for some dinner.
On Saturday we went to Kyle's friend Abby Robert's 1st birthday party. It was a swimming party. Kyle did not go swimming his bathing suit from this summer is a little snug. I think he was really embarrassed of his rolls around the ladies.

Then we went shopping for some Christmas things and a winter coat for Kyle.
I am not sure if he can move his arms once he is in this coat. But he is warm!!!!

After shopping we had dinner at Nana and Poppy's house.

On Sunday Brian got up early to start making Famous Mikes Crab Soup. A few of our friends came over to watch some football and enjoy the soup. Famous Mikes name was on the line, but no need to worry Brian did a great job making the soup. It was delicious. It was the perfect thing on such a cold day!
