Happy 4th Birthday Kyle

Kyle is turning 4! I just can't believe that he is 4 (and I am sure I said the same thing at his 3rd birthday and will continue to not believe it for every birthday after 4). He is just such a big boy. He picked a Chuggington theme for his birthday. He helped with the decorations.

It was a beautiful day and had a little pool our for his friends to play in. It was just such a fun day with family and friends.

Picnic

The other day Kyle, Alex and mommy had a picnic. It was so a beautiful day and the perfect weather for a picnic. The boys like when they get to have a picnic because mommy does not always make them stay in their seats to eat lunch. Soon after these pictures were taken they were off wondering around the yard playing.

Bike Wash

It has been a while since I posted...
The weather has been great recently. We have been spending most of our time outside. Today the kids and I decided it was a good day to have a bike wash. They enjoyed spraying the hose and then taking time to wash the bikes off. No child got sprayed with the hose by another child, which was a surprise.
All the bikes are clean for now, until more pollen covers them. But I am guessing they will not mind washing the bikes off again.

Play Dough

Today Kyle, Alex and Taylor and I made play dough. Kyle and Taylor did most of the work to prepare the play dough while Alex supervised.

Soon it was time to play.

Boys!

Where was Alex when it was time to play?
He decided there was something more interesting up on the counter, so he pushed his chair over to check it out.

Yes you are cute, but you should not be climbing up on your chair. 

He almost got what he was looking for. 

We all had fun making and and playing with play dough. There were only a few pieces eaten (that I saw).

Maybe next week we will make slime.

Playing Outside

It is (well when the pictures were taken) February and we were playing outside without jackets in almost 70 degree weather. It was perfect!

Perfect to play in the sandbox. 

Perfect to blow.... I mean eat bubbles. 

 

Perfect to take a ride in the wagon. 

We can't wait for spring to finally arrive so we can play outside everyday!

Love

It is Valentines Day today. At our house not much is done to celebrate. We get each other cards and I might get some flowers, but it is business at usual at the Berning house. I tell the boys I love them all day and I tell Brian I love him everyday. We don't need a special day to tell each other how much we love each other.

But in the spirit of the day I tried to get a picture of the boys with some hearts Kyle and I made. The boys of course just liked to hit each other with the "heart swords" as Kyle called them. And instead of sitting on the baskets the decided it would be more fun to play in the baskets. But it did not matter, I still had fun watching them play and taking their pictures.
