Turtle Boy

Many people have heard this story and have been waiting to see the video. Here is a video of our son crawling around our bedroom with his seat still strapped to him.

I just love how he stops to look at the chair and then continues on with what he wants to do.

Yes there really was a fight between the cat and dog. Arg!

A Day at The Park

This weekend the weather was so nice so we decided to check out a park near our house, Ft. Smallwood Park. We of course took our camera, here are a few of my new favorite pictures.


















We spent some time walking around the park and enjoying the view. We stopped at the playground to play. Kyle really liked the swings and tried the slide but did not seem to care about that too much. We will defiantly be visiting this park again. It will be fun to see how much more Kyle will enjoy the park as he gets older. Next time we might even bring Cole.

Snow Day

Today we had a snow day! YEAH! It was nice to have a 3 day weekend. Sleeping in a few minutes, relaxing around the house and getting some things done around the house. Brian hung a new light fixture in the dining room, and I got some laundry and organizing done.

It was not all hard work today. We did have some time for some play.

Kyle enjoyed looking out the window at the snow falling.

Until he found a new fun thing to do... licking the window. (I had just cleaned the window before he pulled himself up to view the back porch).

Then it was time to go "play" in the snow.
We stayed outside only a few minutes. Kyle was not too sure about the snow and all the clothing he had on. Maybe next year he will enjoy it more.

As much as I enjoyed my day off, I would like it to get warmer and spring to get here. I don't want to be in school all summer.

Many people have been asking me if I can do this yet. Or if I am just lazy and like to kick back and relax while other people do it for me. Well if I am in the right mood I might just do it myself....

Kyle got a Valentines card from Nana and Poppy. I thought he could say thank you with a picture. It did not work out as I had planned, I forgot that he loves paper. At least he had a great time!
