The Mules Family

My wonderful cousin Erica and her family let me take their pictures a few weeks ago. It was so much fun! Arley and Libby were smiling the whole time and I think we got some great pictures (Doug and Erica were smiling and I got some great pictures of them also, but they did not need a bribe of cookies and cars fruit snacks). I enjoyed spending an afternoon with them and thank Doug for his sacrifice of having to record the Ravens game.

Soccer Season Ends

Kyle's first soccer season came to an end. I think he enjoyed playing, sometimes it was hard to tell. I know that he really loved just getting out on the field and running around. And he did a great job at that! He also did a great job dodging the soccer ball if it came to close to him. Daddy is very proud of his dodging skills and Kyle soon will be playing dodge ball with daddy I am sure.

Each of the players got a trophy with their name on it. Kyle is very proud of his trophy and has it on his dresser next to his soccer picture. 

We are very proud of Kyle for playing soccer. He tried his best and had a great time playing! 

Boo!

Happy Halloween! This year we had a firefighter and a dalmatian. Kyle decided he wanted to be a firefighter a few months ago and has been regularly wearing his outfit since then. Thanks to a friends idea Alex was a dalmatian puppy. I searched all over for a costume for him and could not find any in his size that I liked, so I decided to make his costume (with ear help from my mom).  I think they made a cute pair.

Haloween Baking



We made Halloween cookie cut outs this year. Daddy and Kyle cut out the cookies with cookie cutters. There were fall shapes; leaves and acorns. And Halloween shapes; ghosts, cats, bats, tombstones and pumpkins.



Kyle worn his apron. But once again decided that for most of that day he did not want to wear a shirt. So his apron was keeping his belly from getting dirty.

 Then it was time to decorate. We had Halloween colors in the icing and lots of sprinkles!



When I said a lot of sprinkles. I meant a lot of sprinkles on each cookie.

 



Kyle enjoyed eating the toppings as much as he liked decorating the cookies.

 Since Alex did not help with the cookie decorating, here are some cute pictures of Alex.



Yes he can stand up all by himself. He has only taken a few steps, soon I am sure he will be off and running around chasing Kyle.



Apple Picking

This past weekend we went apple picking at Larriland Farm. It was a fun activity to do the with the boys. We had lunch on the farm and fed some goats before heading out to the apple trees.

The trees were not very tall so Kyle was able to pick apples himself. He told us that he was the only one that could do it since he has the biggest muscles.  Alex found a few apples that had fallen on the ground. We picked Granny Smith apples.



Look Brian even found an apple! WOW!

 



We came home with two bags of apples. I have not made anything from the apples and probably won't need to. Brian takes one to work each day and the kids and I eat one for lunch each day.



BOO!



I think Kyle's favorite part of the day was the huge bag of popcorn that he got and watching movies in the car on the way there and way home. In the spring I think we are going to go back for some strawberry picking.

Alex is a very happy baby (except between the hours of 12am and 5am). People have told us from when he was just born what a happy little guy he is. He is always laughing and smiling, but last night he was REALLY laughing. We have never heard him laugh so hard. And guess who was making him laugh like that.... his big brother.

Not sure how this game started and normally I would not encourage throwing sippy cups on the floor but they were having so much fun.
And I do not know why Kyle decided he did not need to wear a shirt.

I just love to see how they interact with each other. Alex is always trying to do what Kyle is doing and following him around. Usually Kyle does not mind.

The Franks Family

As a learning photographer I am looking for people to photograph (so my poor kids do not have their pictures taken every 5 minutes). So my sister-in-law and her beautiful family were kind enough to let me take their pictures. The pictures were taken at Kinder Park and I think we got some good ones. Here are a few of my favorites:

Maybe they will let me take pictures of the little sister when she arrives (just think how much better I could be by then).
